Pre-GST discounts started all over India:-

@ India Retailers have announced discounts from 25% to 50 % on TV sets, refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, smart phones, Apparel, Car and bikes to clear inventories due to the new indirect tax regime, the Goods and Services Tax, coming into force from 1 July 2017.

@ India GST ie. Goods and Services Tax  is coming from 1^st July 2017. GST law provides that taxpayers with annual turnover of up to Rs. 1.5 crore need to mention the HSN (Harmonized System of Nomenclature) Code of the goods in the invoices.
